Munro's Glasgow

Last Wednesday I was lucky enough to be invited along to the official launch of Munro's, a new craft beer bar in Glasgow's West End. It's situated on Great Western Road (formerly The Captain's Rest) and only a short walk from St George's Cross subway, so it's really easy to get to from the city centre.

The space has had a complete refurbishment and is so warm and welcoming inside, somewhere comfortable to relax after spending the day traipsing through Glasgow. Munro's offers a range of quality craft and cask ales on tap as well as 6 guest beers from all over the world which rotate regularly. Can't decide? Why not order the taster bat and get 3 1/3 pints of your choice. The perfect place for beer lovers!

As well as their amazing drink selection, they offer a delicious food menu which is served from noon until 10pm. We got to sample some of the yummy beer bites (my favourite being the stuffed jalapenos) and tasters of some of the main meals (the burger was amazing) which go great with a pint.

If you're in the West End and looking for a place to relax, grab a drink and a bite to eat then Munro's is the perfect place. Don't worry if you're not a huge beer fan, there's plenty of other drink options such as wine and cider (which gave me my horrendous hangover). Don't fancy a drink? Get out of the cold and grab a coffee or hot chocolate instead. I'll definitely be going back!

For more information and full menus, you can check out the website here and thank you to Munro's and the guys at DADA for such a lovely (and merry) night.
